1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Sarconeigh Car Rental ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Rental Agreement

2.1 Reservation and Confirmation

All vehicle reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Sarconeigh Car Rental. A reservation becomes a binding rental agreement upon our confirmation and your acceptance of these Terms.

2.2 Rental Period

The rental period begins when you take possession of the vehicle and ends when you return the vehicle to the designated location during our operating hours. Late returns may result in additional charges.

2.3 Minimum Age and License Requirements

To rent a vehicle, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age (25 for premium vehicles)
• Hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years
• Provide a valid credit card in your name
• Meet our insurance and credit requirements

3. Permitted Use

3.1 Authorized Drivers

Only authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Additional drivers must meet our requirements and may incur additional fees.

3.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not use the rental vehicle for:

• Commercial purposes (unless specifically authorized)
• Racing, testing, or competitive driving
• Transporting illegal substances or materials
• Towing or pushing other vehicles
• Off-road driving or on unpaved roads
• Transporting more passengers than seat belts available
• Any illegal activities

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Rental Rates

Rental rates are based on the vehicle category, rental period, and additional services selected. All rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees.

4.2 Security Deposit

A security deposit will be authorized on your credit card at the time of rental. The deposit amount varies by vehicle type and rental duration.

4.3 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

• Fuel (if not returned with the same fuel level)
• Late returns
• Cleaning fees
• Toll violations and traffic fines
• Damage or excessive wear
• Optional services and equipment

5. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

5.1 Pre-Rental Inspection

You must inspect the vehicle before taking possession and report any existing damage, defects, or issues. Failure to report pre-existing conditions may result in charges upon return.

5.2 Vehicle Maintenance

You are responsible for:

• Checking and maintaining proper fluid levels
• Ensuring tire pressure is adequate
• Reporting any mechanical issues immediately
• Keeping the vehicle reasonably clean

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 Insurance Coverage

Basic insurance coverage is included with all rentals. Additional coverage options are available for purchase. You are responsible for understanding your coverage limits and deductibles.

6.2 Customer Liability

You are liable for:

• All damage to the vehicle during the rental period
• Loss or theft of the vehicle
• Traffic violations and parking tickets
• Damage caused by unauthorized drivers
• Damage resulting from prohibited use

7. Cancellation and Modification

7.1 Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time without penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur charges.

7.2 Modifications

Rental modifications are subject to availability and may result in rate changes. Extensions must be approved in advance to avoid additional fees.

8. Vehicle Return

8.1 Return Conditions

The vehicle must be returned:

• At the designated location and time
• With the same fuel level as pickup
• In the same condition as received
• With all provided equipment and accessories

8.2 After-Hours Returns

After-hours returns may be available by arrangement. You remain responsible for the vehicle until it is inspected by our staff.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sarconeigh Car Rental's liability is limited to the rental charges paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or personal injury not caused by our negligence.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or other force majeure events.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your rental will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with your rental agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sarconeigh Car Rental regarding your use of our services.
